Fallen and Broken Trees in East Jakarta Evacuated

The green taskforce of East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency successfully evacuated fallen and broken trees that occurred today, Wednesday (12/17) afternoon.

There were no obstacles

Head Section of Green Lane and Cemetery of the sub-agency, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita said a broken Angsana tree with a diameter of 50 centimeters and a height of seven meters was located on Jalan Laut Arafuru.

Two Fallen Trees in Gedong Urban Village Evacuated

He added that for a fallen Durian tree with a diameter of 70 centimeters, occurred on Jalan Lapan RT 01/ 08, Pekayon Urban Village, Pasar Rebo District.

"Both fallen and broken trees have been evacuated," he said, Wednesday (12/17).

The evacuation process, he continued, involved eight personnel assisted with local PPSU personnel.

Meanwhile, Head of Pekayon Urban Village, Akhmad Bakri stated his side deployed five PPSU personnel to assist the evacuation process.

"There were no obstacles in handling those trees," he stated.
